Successful Operation Leads to Arrest of Pangolin Traffickers

A successful operation resulted in the apprehension of traffickers caught with a live adult male pangolin. This pangolin, captured near the Elephant River in Coutada 9, was being sold at an exorbitant price by the traffickers.

Upon interrogation, the traffickers confessed to being part of a poaching group operating within Coutada 9, armed with weapons for the illegal hunting of elephants. The captured pangolin displayed injuries on its left hind leg and burns on its scales.

Following the apprehension of the suspects, the pangolin was handed over to Coutada 11 for further care and rehabilitation.
