Live Pangolin seized in Zambézia Province

A report was received that a live pangolin was being sold at an extremely high price in Morrumbala, Zambézia province. The animal originated from Malawi near Milange district.

An operation was conducted resulting in the arrest of three man in possession of the pangolin. The pangolin was subsequently returned to its natural habitat in Marromeu National reserve (MNR) by the MNR rangers.
