A Fiscal's Dilemma: Caught Between Poachers and Profit

In a surprising turn of events, a member of the Coutada 9 conservation team was recently approached by a group of poachers seeking assistance in infiltrating the Coutada 9 to hunt. In exchange for their illegal enterprise, they promised the fiscal a substantial sum of money. This wasn't the first time these poachers had struck such a deal with Coutada 9 team members.

An operation was carried out in partnership with ANAC and SERINC and the authorities discovered two poachers in the act. They were armed with both meat and a pair of traps, one of which was brand new and had been purchased the day before. The origin of the new trap was traced back to a notorious manufacturer of mechanical traps and homemade weapons located in Macossa.

This incident raises serious questions about the delicate balance between conservation efforts and the lure of financial gain, as well as the constant struggle to combat illegal hunting and poaching within the C9's territory. The fiscal now finds themselves at a moral crossroads, torn between upholding their duty to protect the environment and the temptation of financial reward offered by these persistent poachers. The situation serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing battle against wildlife crime in the region.
